Man dies in caravan fire

A man has died following a fire in a caravan in Kintore, Aberdeenshire in the early hours of the morning of the 31st October.

Emergency services received reports of a fire at Hillhead Caravan Park in Kintore shortly after 1.00am but unfortunately were too late to save the occupant of the caravan.

The dead man, named as Mark Finnie by neighbours, was found fatally injured inside the caravan. A Grampian police spokesperson said that investigations into the cause of the fire were continuing.
